My Professional Journey

I have been working in the charity sector for over six years, supporting the growth and income generation of organisations and communities throughout the UK.
From my beginnings as a member of the corporate partnerships team of a national refugee employment charity, I have specialised as a Trusts & Foundations fundraiser and helped drive the fundraising targets of charities supporting young people in communities across the countries. With a particular focus on sports for development, I have established strong skills in tailoring impact into powerful storytelling.
Since 2024, I have undertaken the freelance journey as I found myself drawn to the challenges of supporting small and medium sized charities to grow and reach the same impact as the organisations I have worked for.
Fundraising is time consuming, it is woven with obstacles and challenges that are often daunting for organisations whose passion and determination is to make a difference in the communities, not behind a computer screen.
In what is a difficult time for the third sector, it is more important than ever to support one another to supersede the challenges of the modern fundraising world: a stagnating economy, national and international instability, and technological disruption that threaten to consolidate resources within the larger organisations.
My vision
My vision for society is one where the charity sector emerges stronger, more resilient and better equipped to face the uncertainties of tomorrow by providing the solutions today.
